Liberals why did you excuse the Dems support of Bush's war in Iraq?

Most Democrats in Congress voted against the Iraq War Resolution. The ones that voted for it stated their reasons, none of which I agreed with. I believe however that they were sincere in trusting Bush with the powers but they were duped.
